Jira for Looker Studio Connector

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Jira for Looker Studio connector ("the Connector"), developed by Flip on Tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Connector.

2. Description of Service

The Connector is a Google Looker Studio Community Connector that enables users to fetch data from their Jira Cloud instances and visualize it in Google Looker Studio dashboards and reports. The Connector operates in read-only mode and does not modify any data in your Jira instance.

3. Requirements

To use the Connector, you must:

• Have a valid Jira Cloud account with appropriate permissions
• Have access to Google Looker Studio
• Install the companion Atlassian Forge application on your Jira Cloud instance
• Authorize the Connector to access your Jira data

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Connector only for its intended purpose of connecting Jira Cloud data to Looker Studio for reporting and visualization. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Connector
• Use the Connector to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the Connector
• Use the Connector to access data you are not authorized to view
• Redistribute or resell the Connector without written permission

5. Data Handling

The Connector accesses your Jira data in read-only mode. No data is permanently stored by the Connector. Data is fetched in real-time when requested by Looker Studio and passed directly for visualization. For details on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Connector, including its code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Flip on Tech. The Jira name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Atlassian. Google Looker Studio is a trademark of Google LLC. This Connector is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Atlassian or Google.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Connector is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall Flip on Tech be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Connector.

Flip on Tech's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Connector in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Connector's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Connector's functionality depends on third-party services including Atlassian Forge, Google Apps Script, and Google Looker Studio, which are outside our control.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Connector at any time with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Connector after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Connector at any time by removing it from your Looker Studio data sources and revoking the Forge app access in your Atlassian account. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Connector for violations of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
